A Lincoln man was killed in a single-vehicle accident Wednesday in Pettis County. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, at 8:09 p.m., Jared A. Gardner, 20, was driving north on U.S. Highway 65, about two-tenths of a mile north of Hall Road, when he struck a deer in the road.
