Florida executes man for rape, murder of 11-year-old girl

A man convicted of raping and murdering an 11-year-old girl in 1994 was executed Thursday evening. Eddie Wayne Davis was executed by lethal injection Thursday at 6:43 p.m. It was Florida's sixth execution this year, and 13th in the past two.
