Elderly Whitehall man dies in 2-car crash

An elderly man was killed Sunday in a two-car accident in Allentown. Two cars collided just before 7 a.m. at 15th and West Pennsylvania streets, police said. The Lehigh County coroner said John Reiss, 84, of Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., died several hours later at Lehigh Valley Hospital from injuries in the crash. The coroner's office and Allentown police are investigating.
